Art, Joy and Superguest Mitch have a fun full hour on the movies.  Art reminds everyone there is still plenty of time to get out and see  The King’s Speech as you will keep hearing more about this film all the way through February 27th–Oscar time and well beyond.  TMG rants about the lack of “TIVO Radio” in cars and Joy Lynn takes a sore neck view of movie theatre front rows. We promote an oldie but compelling “assassin film” by Pierce Brosnan called The Matador from 2005 that many folks missed. It is an intellectually fun DVD to rent.   We all give the Michael Jackson “I’m Bad”  salute to Season of the Witch, but give  Nicolas Cage his due anyway in our star segment.  Cage has made his mistakes (most notably Kick Ass),  but is still one of the more compelling actors of our time.  We all are sold on the music and Gwyneth Paltrow in Country Strong but the title might have been “Music Strong, Film Weak.”  [TMG is still creeped out about the little bird in the box.]  Tron is pretty much a big yawn, and a 3D yawn no less. We salute Chantilly, Washington.   Listen to find out why. We play a tribute to the passing of legendary actor  Pete Postlehwaite, even though few knew the real person or name.   We play some fun movie quote games and more.
