Art and Joy Lynn come back from the Oscars in great form and tons of movies to catch up on. Art compares the voices of radio babes, Laura Ingraham and Kim Komando and then invites Bill O”Reilly to appear on the show! We skip the weekly rant and decide to follow the media blitz and talk about the sad meltdown of actor, Charlie Sheen. Art compares the delusions of Sheen to the rantings of another Charlie...Charlie Manson. It’s the drugs talking. We give a solid endorsement to Rango, the new animated film starring Johnny Depp. We both recommend Unknown and thought The Adjustment Bureau was a solid effort with provocative ideas. We both agree Beastly will not likely be in our future. We reached back to 2010 for our DVD recommendation of the week, Animal Kingdom. It’s a dark and creepy film film and we understand why Jacki Weaver was nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the 2011 Oscars. (Joy was really freaked by the way she kissed her sons on the lips!) We feature Paul Giamatti in our Star Segment along with a commentary on Barney’s Version. Art totally dismisses Cedar Rapids as less laughs than Paranormal Activity 2. We salute the city of Cedar Rapids, Iowa anyway; pay tribute to the passing this week of Jane Russell—sex goddess of the 40’s and 50’s; movie trivia and more.
